MAX, N.D. (AP) - Authorities say a motorcycle driver was killed when he failed to negotiate a curve between Max and Minot.

The Highway Patrol says 32-year-old Dawson Bressie, of Minot, was traveling north on U.S. Highway 83 when the accident happened about 3 p.m. Saturday. He was transported to a Minot hospital, where he died.

The patrol says Bressie was thrown from the motorcycle. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
