BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - High water levels on the Missouri River have resulted in several boat ramps in North Dakota being closed or having access restricted.
The state Game and Fish Department says most of the affected ramps are in the Bismarck/Mandan and Williston areas.
They include the Cross Ranch, Hoge (hohg) Island, Grant Marsh Bridge, Fox Island, Little Heart Bottoms and Highway 85 boat ramps. Several other ramps remain open but are nearly submerged.
The river level is expected to remain high through the summer due to a large amount of runoff in the basin.
