DIGHTON, Mass. (AP) - Authorities are investigating the fatal shooting of a 17-year-old inside a Massachusetts home.
Police in Dighton received a 911 around 6:45 p.m. Tuesday about a medical emergency and found a young man had been shot. He was taken to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Police say the shooting is a homicide.
The victim’s name was being withheld until his family was notified.
Dighton Police, Massachusetts State Police detectives and prosecutors from the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office are investigating.
