WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) - Authorities in Worcester say they have taken into custody the driver of a car that crashed into a three-family home, setting the building on fire.
Deputy Fire Chief Martin Dyer tells the Telegram of Worcester that several people who were in the home escaped without injury after the incident late Monday night on Cambridge Street.
The blaze spread quickly to the roof and the building was heavily damaged.
Dyer said he was told by police the unidentified driver of the car was taken into custody after the crash, but was not immediately clear if any charges were filed.
