WEST WARWICK, R.I. (AP) - Officials are saying a suspicious fire in a vacant Rhode Island house might have been arson.
The fire broke out Saturday night in the two-family house in Providence.
The Providence Journal reports firefighters extinguished the blaze and boarded up the building.
No one was at the house at the time of the fire, although neighbors say squatters are known to occasionally reside there. No suspects have been arrested.
The fire marshal is investigating the fire as a potential arson.
