MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) - Crews in New Hampshire are working to once again fill a sinkhole that previously opened up last year.

On Saturday, a broken water pipe created a hole directly underneath cars parked on a road in Manchester. WMUR-TV reports a crane was called in to remove three cars from the sinkhole before crews could start filling it in again.

A sinkhole previously opened on the same stretch of road in November that also pulled down a car.

Both sinkholes were caused by pipe issues: November’s sinkhole by a pipe dating back to 1888 while Saturday’s sinkhole was caused by a pipe originally installed in 1968.
