Maryland Natural Resources Police say the bodies of two men have been recovered from the Potomac River after a boating accident.

News outlets reported Sunday that the bodies of the two Montgomery County men have been identified as 47-year-old Eriberto Ferrufino and 43-year-old Franklin Ferrufino.

Divers recovered the men’s bodies from the Potomac River in Charles County after the boating accident on Saturday night. Police tweeted that the boat had been found empty and turning in circles near Cobb Island.



An investigation into the cause of the accident continues.
