JACKSON, Wyo. (AP) - A woman is recovering after falling from a chairlift in Teton Village.
The Jackson Hole News And Guide reports four tourists were loading the Jackson Hole Resort’s Teewinot chairlift on Wednesday when they “misloaded” and two of them fell.
Jackson Hole Mountain Resort spokeswoman Anna Cole says it was not a large vertical fall.
She says the two people that fell did sustain some injuries.
An elderly man was not transported to the hospital, but one woman was taken for evaluation.
She is expected to be OK.
Cole says the incident was due to human error.
