BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - North Dakota’s Oil and Gas Division is monitoring cleanup of a saltwater spill at a well site in Golden Valley County.
Saltwater is a byproduct of oil production. Officials say Foundation Energy Management reported that about 21,000 gallons spilled Sunday at a well site about 11 miles north of Beach due to a pump leak.
The spill was contained on site. A state inspector has been to the scene.
