JASPER, Tenn. (AP) - Officials say a man has died after falling from a trail in Tennessee.
News outlets report rescue crews responded Saturday to a report that a man had fallen from a trail at Suck Creek Mountain, which is along the Hamilton-Marion county line.
Chattanooga-Hamilton County Rescue Service Chief Bob Lewis said the man fell around 30 feet near a swimming area and suffered a severe head injury. Lewis said the man was in his 20s, but he did not release his identity.
Marion County Sheriff Bo Burnette confirmed late Saturday that the man had died at an area hospital.
