PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Philadelphia police say a man doing electrical work in the backyard of a home was electrocuted.

Police say the 56-year-old man was electrocuted shortly after 1:30 p.m. Saturday while working at a south Philadelphia house. The victim was pronounced dead by medical personnel about 20 minutes later. He wasn’t identified.

Officials haven’t said what caused the accident. An investigation is continuing.
