LOWELL, Mass. (AP) - A driver has died in a two-car crash in Massachusetts.

Officials from the Middlesex District Attorney’s office say 52-year-old Juan Ramon Rivera was struck by a Honda Accord while driving an SUV.

Ramon Rivera was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver stayed on the scene and was interviewed by police. No charges have been filed at this time.



Prosecutors say the Honda Accord was speeding and hit the SUV from behind.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing by the district attorney’s office and Lowell Police Department.
