SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - A pilot has been taken to a hospital after his small plane crashed in northern Utah.
Cache County Sheriff Chad Jensen said in a statement Thursday that the pilot was stabilized by emergency response medics who rushed to the scene of the crash. He was taken to a hospital via helicopter.
Authorities say there’s no information about why the plane crashed.
They have declined to release information about the pilot’s identity or the extent of his injuries.
The sheriff’s office and Federal Aviation Administration are investigating the incident.
Jensen said the plane crash was witnessed by a pilot in another plane.
