LANCASTER, Calif. (AP) _ Simulations Plus Inc. (SLP) on Tuesday reported fiscal third-quarter profit of $2.4 million.
On a per-share basis, the Lancaster, California-based company said it had net income of 13 cents.
The maker of software used in pharmaceutical research posted revenue of $8.6 million in the period.
Simulations Plus shares have increased 41 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $22.65, a climb of 76 percent in the last 12 months.
