FORT MYERS, Fla. (AP) — Kramer Robertson had four hits, while Andy Young and Shane Billings recorded three apiece as the Palm Beach Cardinals beat the Fort Myers Miracle 14-8 on Tuesday.
Robertson doubled and singled three times, scoring two runs. Young tripled and singled twice, scoring a run and also driving one home.
Palm Beach took the lead in the first when Billings hit a three-run home run.
Trailing 8-7, the Miracle tied the game in the eighth inning when Aaron Whitefield scored on a ground out.
The Cardinals took the lead for good in the ninth when Young hit an RBI single, driving in Robertson.
Robbie Gordon (3-1) got the win in relief while Tom Hackimer (2-4) took the loss in the Florida State League game.
Joe Cronin singled twice, driving home three runs for the Miracle.
Palm Beach improved to 8-2 against Fort Myers this season.
