President Trump and his supporters are the focus of Hollywood’s latest promotional material for “The First Purge.”

Fans of the horror genre created a franchise after flocking to “The Purge” in 2013, which details a world where all crimes — including homicide —  are legal for one 12-hour period each year. A teaser trailer for the fourth installment features a parody of the red “Make America Great Again” hats worn by Mr. Trump and his supporters at campaign rallies.

“What makes America great?” a narrator says in a clip released Wednesday. “The answer’s simple, really,” a narrator says. “Americans make America great. You are the lifeblood of the nation, and your rights as Americans must be safeguarded. There’s only one solution to keep our country great — a new tradition.”

The teaser also includes images of American farms, citizens standing for the national anthem, Fourth of July festivities, and children running on a baseball field.

The film opens for theatrical release July 4 and will be distributed by Universal Pictures.
