FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (AP) - Police are investigating a shooting death in one of North Carolina’s largest cities.
Fayetteville Police Officer Asia Cannon said in a news release that officers were called to a report of a shooting shortly before 10 p.m. Tuesday.
Cannon said officers found a man who was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released while relatives are notified.
Investigators were questioning those at the location. No arrests have been reported.
Police have not said what might have sparked the shooting.
