SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - Police say a stabbing at an apartment in Sioux Falls happened during a dispute over the suspect’s girlfriend.
Sioux Falls police spokesman Sam Clemens says a 42-year-old man has been arrested on a possible charge of aggravated assault. Clemens says police were called to a Sioux Falls hospital Sunday night after a man showed up with a stab wound to the chest. Police say a woman drove the man to the hospital. His condition was not immediately available.
Clemens says the 49-year-old victim was talking or flirting with the suspect’s girlfriend which led to the confrontation. Police say a knife was recovered outside the apartment building.
