OREGON CITY, Ore. (AP) - Oregon State Police say a pedestrian was struck and killed by a car in Clackamas County.
Sgt. Yvette Shephard says an Oregon City man was driving southbound on Highway 99E at the same time 41-year-old Ebodio Castrejon Villanueva was trying to cross the dimly lit road outside of a designated crosswalk.
Villanueva, from Milwaukie, died at the scene.
The road was closed for three hours Sunday night.
