NEW YORK (AP) - An elevator repairman has died after falling down an elevator shaft in Manhattan.
It happened just before 9 a.m. Tuesday at a construction site on East 24th Street in Kips Bay.
Police say the 33-year-old worker was found unconscious and unresponsive.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
