BALTIMORE (AP) - Baltimore police are seeking at least five people who they say assaulted a cat and set it on fire.

Police said in a Facebook post that a group of suspects attacked the cat on Tuesday afternoon. Animal Control was called to the scene in northeast Baltimore, where the cat was pronounced dead.

Police have released stills of the suspects, obtained from a surveillance camera in the area.
