SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (AP) - Authorities say a bicyclist was struck and killed in southwest Missouri.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol identified the victim as 30-year-old Jesse Andrews, of Springfield. He was riding without a helmet Wednesday night when he was struck by a sport utility vehicle on U.S. 160 just south of Springfield. He was taken to a hospital, where he died.
