HARPSWELL, Maine (AP) - The State Fire Marshal’s Office in Maine says a man has been charged with arson after setting a mobile home fire that killed two dogs.

The office says 30-year-old Bradley Wallace was charged on Wednesday after being treated for burns and cuts at a hospital. Investigators say three other people who were staying at the home escaped the fire without injury.

The office says Wallace was renting the mobile home on Great Island. It says the home was destroyed in the fire, and that the dogs that died belonged to Wallace.

It’s unclear if Wallace has an attorney. He was taken to Cumberland County Jail after his release from the hospital.
