GREER, S.C. (AP) - Snow may be headed to South Carolina again.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for eight counties in northwestern South Carolina from 10 p.m. Tuesday until noon Wednesday.
The weather service said up to 2 inches (5 centimeters) of snow is possible.
The advisory is in effect in Cherokee, Chester, Greenville, Laurens, Oconee, Pickens, Spartanburg and York counties.
A winter weather advisory is also in effect in Chesterfield and Lancaster counties from 4 a.m. Wednesday until 2 p.m. Up to 1 inch (2.5 centimeters) of snow is possible.
