BAR HARBOR, Maine (AP) - Emera Maine crews are continuing work to restore power after a storm brought heavy wind to parts of the state.

About 2,500 homes and businesses, mostly in Hancock County were without power early Saturday. By noon, that number had dropped to about 1,300 customers.

The utility is warning residents to drive carefully around vehicles and crews making repairs along roadsides.
