PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - Providence officials have identified a woman found dead after a fire heavily damaged three homes last weekend.

Authorities said Wednesday that the victim was 49-year-old Luzcelenia Feliciano. Her body was found in one of the homes on Monday, two days after the fire.

The cause of the fire in the city’s Olneyville neighborhood remains under investigation. Three triple-decker homes were destroyed.

WPRI-TV reported that days before the fire, a city inspector recommended condemning the house where Feliciano’s body was found. The inspector said there was no heat or running water, and the occupants were using space heaters and propone torches.
