Silence seems to be the tactic employed by the mainstream media in reporting on the unfolding news of the corruption in the Obama Justice Department. Maybe the two esteemed defenders of truth and justice, former Washington Post start reporters Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein, could enlighten us “deplorables” about the difference between Watergate and this scandal.

As the documents come to light and statements are made, it is becoming increasingly obvious that the Obama Justice Department colluded to try to affect the outcome of the 2016 presidential election in favor of Hillary Clinton. When that didn’t work, they tried to change the results of the election through the creation of a fake Russian-collusion story intended to undermine the new administration.

President Nixon resigned in the shadow of far fewer obstructionist tactics than the active subversion the last administration apparently employed. The public has yet to hear what role President Obama himself played in all this, but as the president the buck stopped with him. He was the Justice Department’s ultimate boss, after all. Add to that the collusion with the Democratic National Committee, and the Clinton campaign has set a record for government corruption.

Mr. Woodward and Mr. Bernstein need to come clean with the American public on ’DOJgate’ or admit their bias for liberal thought at the expense of truth. The same applies to the mainstream media.
