INMAN, S.C. (AP) - Two men have been killed and a third man hurt in a wreck in northern South Carolina.

Spartanburg County Coroner Charles Clevenger said the wreck happened around 6:45 p.m. Tuesday near Inman.

Clevenger said 18-year-old Eli James Cagle of Campobello died at the scene.

Twenty-one-year-old Tyler Hutcherson of Landrum died at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center from injuries he suffered in the crash. A third man was still hospitalized for his injuries. There was no word on his condition.

The coroner said all three men were thrown from their vehicle. They say the car ran off the road, hit a mailbox and then came back onto the road before hitting a utility pole.

South Carolina Highway Patrol Trooper Joe Hovis said the vehicle overturned after the crash.
