Crews search for missing swimmer near California pier

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (AP) - Rescue crews are searching for a missing swimmer near Southern California’s Huntington Beach Pier.

The Coast Guard says the 18-year-old woman was reported missing late Wednesday.

Rescuers on a boat and in a helicopter are searching the ocean off the beach city about 35 miles south of downtown Los Angeles.
