TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Davis-Monthan Air Force base officials say residents in part of Tucson may hear noise from simulated explosions and simulated gunfire during a readiness exercise being held in the next two weeks.
The southern Arizona base’s public affairs staff also says there’ll be more flights in the area during the exercise called Bushwhackers 18-02 Cactus Flag.
The noise from simulated explosions and gunfire will be heard near the base in the vicinity of south Golf Links Road between Alvernon and Craycroft roads.
No additional information on the exercise was immediately available.
