OPINION:
A young man known by his former school, the local sheriff’s office and the FBI to be mentally disturbed commits a despicable act: murdering 17 people with a semi-automatic rifle. The political left reacts in horror, claiming “NRA-loving” congressmen aid in all such events, those of schoolchildren being murdered. But the left must admit it plays a role in children’s deaths.
When physically and mentally healthy young women choose to destroy millions of children each year with their liberal-approved act of abortion, so as to avoid the responsibility of caring for babies that would become schoolchildren, the liberal, vitriolic accusations are aimed at those trying to save human lives.
This hypocrisy is substantiated by the annual celebration in Washington of healthy women made free to eliminate the necessity of caring for their future schoolchild. Meanwhile gun owners do not celebrate unstable, angry young men using a gun on schoolchildren. It is clear which side flips on and off their respect for human life according the political ramifications to be won.
