LOS ANGELES (AP) - Los Angeles police say a man has been arrested on suspicion of beating an 89-year-old woman to death at her Hollywood apartment building.
Investigators say Jerrod Vaile-Martindale argued with the woman Wednesday before allegedly attacking her.
The 29-year-old was arrested on suspicion of murder and is held on $2 million bail. It wasn’t immediately known if he has an attorney.
The Los Angeles Times reports Vaile-Martindale is not related to the victim, and it was not clear what sparked the argument.
