Fans of “The Karate” kid will soon get to see Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence square off one more time.
Actors Ralph Macchio and William Zabka appear ready for battle in the first teaser trailer for YouTube Red’s upcoming television series “Cobra Kai.” The two men, made famous by the 1984 film starring Pat Morita as “Mr. Miyagi” and Martin Kove as “Kreese,” face off after the infamous dojo is reopened.
“I just don’t know why you’d ever bring back Cobra Kai,” Mr. Macchio’s character says in the 48-second clip.
“Mercy is for the weak,” Mr. Zabka’s character adds over a montage of the dojo reopening.
“Strike first. Strike hard. No mercy,” also appears inside a training room.
The series, which is slated for ten episodes, does not yet have a release date.
