WINSLOW, Ariz. (AP) - The Latest on a brush fire that closed part of Interstate 40 (all times local):

12:40 p.m.

Westbound Interstate 40 has reopened after being closed at a location between Flagstaff and Winslow in northern Arizona because of a brush fire.



An update provided by the state Department of Transportation at 12:30 p.m. Saturday says the closure announced late Saturday morning had been lifted.

According to ADOT, the closure was just before the Twin Arrows exit and that eastbound lanes weren’t affected.

Westbound Interstate 40 is closed between Flagstaff and Winslow in northern Arizona because of a brush fire.

The state Department of Transportation says the closure Saturday is just before the Twin Arrows exit and that there’s no estimated time for reopening westbound lanes.

ADOT lines are unaffected.
