NORTHFIELD, N.H. (AP) - An Interstate 93 crash involving a tractor-trailer carrying 50,000 pounds of milk and a contract plow truck for the New Hampshire Department of Transportation has slowed traffic.

WMUR-TV reports the crash happened at about 7:15 a.m. Thursday on the southbound side of the highway in Northfield.

Authorities say 100 gallons of diesel fuel spilled after the crash. The milk has to be off-loaded by crews.

The crash closed both lanes of traffic for a while. One lane was reopened at about 9 a.m.

Both drivers were taken to the hospital. The extent of their injuries wasn’t known.
