WAYNESVILLE, Ohio (AP) - A Christmas Eve fire in southwest Ohio has destroyed a three-story home and two cars.

The Hamilton-Middletown Journal-News reports fire crews arrived Monday afternoon to a building engulfed in flames in Wayne Township, some 130 miles east of Cincinnati. Fire officials say everyone in the home evacuated safely.

A Waynesville fire captain says an unattended electric smoker in the garage started the blaze.

Two vehicles parked in the driveway were also destroyed. Officials could not immediately estimate the total cost in damages.
