BEEKMANTOWN, N.Y. (AP) - New York State Police have released the name of the Vermont man who was killed in a one-car crash on an upstate highway last weekend.

Troopers say a car was traveling south on Interstate 87, the Adirondack Northway, around 1:30 a.m. Sunday when it left the highway at the Exit 40 off-ramp in Beekmantown, just north of Plattsburgh. Police say the car overturned and came to rest on its wheels.

Troopers say 38-year-old Yadab Kadariya, of Winooski, Vermont, was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Clinton County coroner.

Two Burlington, Vermont, residents who were also in the car were treated for minor injuries.

The cause of the crash is being investigated.
