TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - Drivers in New Jersey and around the nation continue to see gas prices drop, but analysts warn that cheaper prices may not last long into the new year.
AAA Mid-Atlantic says the average price of a gallon of regular gas in the state on Friday was $2.46, down three cents from a week ago. Drivers were paying $2.50 a gallon a year ago at this time.
The national average gas price Friday was $2.39 a gallon, down another nickel from last week. Last year at this time, drivers were paying $2.45 a gallon.
