ASHLAND CITY, Tenn. (AP) - A sheriff says three people have died in a high-speed crash in Tennessee.
Cheatham County Sheriff Mike Breedlove told local news outlets that the single-vehicle accident on Highway 12 happened Thursday morning. He said the vehicle had come from Clarksville and was traveling at a “high rate of speed” when it went off the road.
The sheriff’s office and the Tennessee Highway Patrol are investigating the crash. Authorities declined to release further information because police were still notifying next of kin.
