Mississippi resident dies in a trailer fire

NATCHEZ, Miss. (AP) - A Mississippi resident has died in a trailer fire.

Coroner James Lee tells the Natchez Democrat that an Adams County resident died in the fire Wednesday night.

Acting Natchez Fire Chief Ventris Green says the fire was reported around 8 p.m. and firefighters responded to find the trailer engulfed in flames.

Multiple residents in the home were taken to a hospital. One victim was later flown to a Jackson hospital.

Green says the State Fire Marshal would be traveling to investigate the fire.
