COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - One person has been found dead following a fire at a mobile home east of Colorado Springs in El Paso County.
Authorities tell KKTV that the fire was reported around 9 p.m. Wednesday in a structure at a mobile home park. A witness said he heard a loud boom and then saw an eerie glow coming from a nearby home.
Firefighters spent close to an hour fighting the fire, which engulfed the home.
The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office confirmed a person was found dead at the scene.
The name of the victim was not immediately released.
