WATERBURY, Vt. (AP) - Authorities have identified the human remains found by a hunter in Williamstown.

The Vermont Chief Medical Examiner’s Office said Saturday that dental records show the remains are that of 29-year-old Michael Webber.

Webber was reported missing to the Barre City Police Department after he was last seen March 16.

The hunter came across a jawbone Nov. 11. The state police search team scoured the area around where the jawbone was found, but did not locate any additional human remains.

Authorities say additional searches of the area will resume when weather conditions permit.

No determination has been made as to the cause and manner of Webber’s death. The investigation is ongoing.
