HIGHGATE, Vt. (AP) - Vermont State Police say a 19-year-old driver who died in a car crash was not wearing a seat belt.
Police say Megan Fregeau, of Franklin, Vermont, lost control of the car early Friday, went off the road, and struck some trees. She was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger was stable.
The crash is under investigation.
