Treason is a crime we identify as against the government — but when the agenda becomes a personal assault, it takes on a whole new set of terms. The management at the top of the FBI and Justice Department must have thought they were wearing capes, that they were indestructible. These rogue patriots likely rose to the top because of their investigative skills, but they make lousy criminals.

As we watch them fall one by one, each displaya the same you-can’t-touch-me attitude. These are the people at the top of the intelligence community having their careers terminated in disgrace, yet not one of them shows remorse for their treason.

We should consider this a good thing because at some point a grand jury will hold a tribunal and that conduct will lead to quick indictments and jail time. The evidence we already have is public knowledge and this group of masterminds shows no fear about taking credit for their actions.

These people were the leadership of the intelligence community. It’s not possible that they didn’t know what they were doing.
