GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) - The pilot of a crop-spraying plane was injured when the aircraft crashed in a soybean field a few miles north of Grand Forks, but he’s expected to survive.

The crash was reported Tuesday morning. The Grand Forks County Sheriff’s Office says the pilot was conscious when removed from the wreckage.

He was taken to a hospital with injuries that authorities said were not life-threatening.

The Federal Aviation Administration will investigate the cause of the crash.
