ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - As one of the nation’s fastest growing states, Florida is a magnet for people of all ages.
But it retains a particular appeal for one group of people, according to a new survey by a financial website.
Five Florida cities were listed as among the Top 10 cities to retire to, according to WalletHub.
Orlando ranked No. 1. Tampa was the third best. Fort Lauderdale was No. 5, and Miami ranked seventh best. Cape Coral was No. 9.
The website determined the rankings based on affordability, access to health care, recreational activities and quality of life issues like weather.
It evaluated 180 cities using almost four dozen metrics.
