President Trump said Tuesday that the Russia probe would not exist “if we had a real Attorney General” and called for the investigation to end in light of Peter Strzok’s involvement.

The president blamed Attorney General Jeff Sessions for the course special counsel Robert Mueller took in his investigation and argued it should focus on Hillary Clinton and the Democrats.

At the beginning of August, the president said Mr. Sessions should stop the Russia probe ” before it continues to stain our country any further.”

He also went after former FBI agent Peter Strzok, who was fired from the agency on Monday.
