SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (AP) - Springfield officials say a woman has died after a fire at home.
The fire department says the woman suffered extensive burns during a fire at the home Wednesday afternoon. She died on Thursday.
Officials have not released the woman’s name or the possible cause of the fire.
This is Springfield’s first fire fatality this year.
