FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (AP) - Police say one person was killed and another person was wounded after shots were fired into a home in North Carolina.

Fayetteville police said in a news release at least one person fired shots from the street into a home shortly after midnight Thursday.

A news release from police says the second shooting victim was hospitalized with injuries which were not life-threatening. Neither victim has been identified pending notification of relatives.
