PHOENIX (AP) - A fire in the attic of a Phoenix apartment complex flared up early Tuesday about four hours after firefighters originally responded when the fire was first reported Monday evening.

Fire Capt. Larry Subervi says approximately 30 firefighters responded to the flare-up, put it out and confirmed that there was no active fire in the previously affected apartments.

Subervi says there was water and smoke damage and that at least five people were displaced from three apartments in the 18-unit complex.
